Makluman bagi peminat setia IKEA, jika anda pernah membeli bib kanak-kanak MATVRÅ yang berwarna biru / merah, anda digesa untuk menghentikan penggunaannya serta-merta dan memulangkan produk ini kepada IKEA.
Dalam sebuah kenyataan, IKEA mengumumkan bahawa penarikan produk tersebut adalah berdasarkan aduan bahawa butang pada produk tersebut boleh tertanggal dan berisiko menyebabkan tercekik.
Walaubagaimanapun, tiada sebarang insiden sedemikian yang dilaporkan berlaku di Malaysia.
Satu lagi bib dengan nama yang sama, MATVRÅ bercorak buah / sayur adalah selamat dan tidak terlibat kerana ia menggunakan material dan rekaan yang berbeza.
Anda boleh memilih untuk mendapatkan pulangan semula (refund) atau menukarnya dengan produk lain (replacement) dan resit tidak diperlukan.

Dear IKEA fans, if you have bought the children’s bib MATVRÅ, blue/red 2pcs, please read on:
IKEA urges all customers that have purchased the bib MATVRÅ, blue/red 2pcs, to stop using it immediately and return the product to IKEA stores for a full refund or exchange for a replacement product. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.
We take product safety very seriously and all our products are tested and comply with applicable standards and legislation. However, we have received reports that the button on the MATVRÅ bib can come off and thus presents a choking hazard. No known incidents have been reported in Malaysia.
Emelie Knoester, Business Area Manager at IKEA of Sweden, explained in a statement saying, “It has come to our attention that there is a risk for the button to come off if the child pulls at it. The safety of customers is a top priority for IKEA, which is why we choose to recall the children’s bib MATVRÅ blue/red 2pcs, as a precautionary measure. The bibs with the same name, MATVRÅ, fruit/vegetables pattern, green/yellow, are safe to use due to different material and design.”
